When We Sing of Hunger Carols but [Build] Fence Walls
Lord, our God, forgive our sins when we sing of hunger carols but [build] fence walls, when we preach justice but stand on gaudy stages, when we celebrate the eucharist but indulge in lavish banquets, when we pray for peace but sit in comforts of our chapels.
Teach us to turn to you, to search you in the midst of the poverty, in the tears of the starvation, in the cold in the shelter-less, bring your light into every corner of darkness.
