God, Give the Ear to Us

God, give your eyes to see us paid.
God, give your language so that we will shout for the people.
God, give us the freedom to overcome the temptation to be silenced by the abstractions of the empire.
Lord of the poor, deliver us from the clutches of the Empire and help us to be with the people who are subaltern.
