Prayer in time of trouble: we are all one
“My prayer is that all of them may be one, Father-Mother, just as you are in me and I am in you” – John 17:21
Dear Beauty of Life,
our Mother, our Father, our Brother, our Sister, our Friend
We are facing hard times with tears in our eyes; our hearts are oppressed with sorrow, the grief for all humanity and the World.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken.
My Beloved, we pray for all your children that are suffering in the hospitals and their homes, struggling to live and breathe. May your Spirit comfort them.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken.
We ask your blessing for the doctors, nurses, all people who are working in those times, please, give them strength and some hope. Keep them safe, o God.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken.
Please, Divine Light, look to the poor and marginalized people, who are the most affected in this trouble times: homeless, jobless, migrants, women, children, LGBTQIA+, black communities, tribal and indigenous communities. Don’t let the tyranny of violence bring them down. Give them the strength to their feeble arms and weak knees.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken
In this time of darkness, you are our Light, our lighthouse, guiding us through the storm. Please, bring your healing Light here and now.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken.
We are all one. With You. With the World. With Nature. With all humanity. Wake us up from the duality to non-duality. Make us understand we are one, as you are One in Three.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken.
We praise you.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together, Lord,
Bind us together in love.
Amen
